Australian power tool accessory brand, Alpha Tools, has joined Airspeeder Team Australia as a Team Partner ahead of the Airspeeder International Series race in November 2026.
The partnership supports Team Australia’s campaign in the world’s first racing series for electric flying cars (eVTOLs). The team competes on the Airspeeder Mk3C, designed and built in Adelaide, South Australia.
Alpha Tools will contribute specialised tooling for working with aerospace composites and advanced 3D-printed metal alloys, the materials at the core of modern racing eVTOL construction. The partnership puts more than five decades of Australian tooling expertise alongside the engineers, designers, and researchers developing the aerodynamics, battery systems, propulsion, and AI-enabled flight control at the heart of the sport.
Airspeeder Team Australia made its competitive debut at The Bend Motorsport Park in April 2026, flying the Mk3C platform in the first Airspeeder demonstration staged within existing motorsport infrastructure. The team now prepares for the International Series, in which national teams compete at the frontier of advanced air mobility and physical AI.
