The future is now
"The Formula 1 of the Skies"
We are making electric flying car racing a reality.
Elite pilots will navigate next-generation craft above the most epic scenery in the world.
Electronically governed tracks in the sky will plot a course across snow, ocean, desert and canyon landscapes.
Our global fan-base will be brought close to the action through interactive live streams that project the augmented reality enhanced view our pilots use to gain a competitive advantage.
Airspeeder is the next generation motorsport.
Rapid switch out for increased motorsport
Some of the most pivotal and exciting moments in motorsport history have been won and lost in the pit lane.
Airspeeder’s current pit stop time speed is 55 seconds with two batteries swapped out for rapid charging.
Digitally mapped courses
Airspeeder delivers on the promise of a future proposed in science fiction and gaming. Inspiration from the latter will take the form of a cockpit, furnished with the latest augmented reality technology to assist the pilot in navigating the course.
These mapped courses will provide pilots and fans a unique new digitally projected race series.
World-class safety systems
Racing, as it did at the dawn of the automobile age can answer many challenges within the EVTOL sector, namely; performance, safety technology, and awareness. Indeed, history tells us, there is no greater catalyst for progress than raw sporting competition.
Our safety system includes collision-avoidance software, vehicle-to-vehicle communication, autonomous pilot failure safety systems, a carbon fibre monocoque, extra batteries, safety parachute and redundant motors. This will ensure our sport protects its pilots and staff throughout this futuristic motorsport.
10 teams racing by 2025
Airspeeder aims to be the most exciting and progressive motorsport on the planet. Elite pilots will use the sky as their playground in intense head-to-head competition. Multiple teams and manufacturers will be provided the hardware by Alauda Aeronautics as a turn-key solution but afforded freedom to set strategy and draft pilots.
The roster of teams include established names in racing and entirely new entrants to motorsport who are enticed by the fusion of intense sporting competition and next-generation technology.
Airspeeder started with two teams in 2022, but growing to 10 crewed teams by 2025.
Physical and digital audience attendance
Airspeeder will be experienced through global multi-channel streaming. Spectators at live events will be limited to VIPs exclusively invited to experience and amplify the action. As they compete, Airspeeders will utilise cutting-edge LiDAR and Machine Vision technology to ensure close but safe racing, with defined and digitally governed no-fly areas surrounding spectators and officials.
With fans intersecting between motorsport, esports, pop culture and technology, interactivity, VR/AR and live streaming will be our focus.
